Oh, the “about” page. This is where readers come (or don’t) to find out just WHO writes all of this crap!

Me? My name is Abi. Well, that’s not my real name but it’s what a majority of my readers and in-game friends know me as. I’ve been an avid blogger for about 2 years now, but I’ve had numerous URL’s thanks to the firewall raid boss. You see, I have an office-type sales job and sometimes we have a lot of down time. That’s when I blog, so when one blog gets shut down, I have to relocate again.. and again.. and again. (You may or may not remember me from Fear.Win)

Kungaloosh is a WoW-blog which is pretty obvious. It’s not class or role specific but it only deals with WoW and my perspective on everything the game has to offer. I like to write guides but I’m not perfect nor the only source for these things. I also like to share information and first-hand experiences as a guild leader, raid leader and perfectionist.

In game, I’m the GM of a raiding guild on the US-PVE server Thrall and I raid as a Tauren Moonkin. I also casually play a Death Knight tank, Shadow/Disc Priest and Demonology Warlock at level 80. I’ve been playing WoW since 2005 I think and most of my time has been spent raiding as a Warlock, but I’ve been on multiple servers and crossed factions twice so far. I really enjoy the entire PVE aspect of WoW – leveling, gearing, raiding, dungeon crawling and just all around being social in guild chat. My long term in-game friends are just as important to me as RL friends.

Personally, I’m a 28 year old married male who was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Indianapolis, IN in 2001. I have a background in marketing and have spent a majority of my life gaming through home consoles, PC, table top RPG’s and Magic: the Gathering. I embrace all things nerdy and I’m not shy about being one. I even have a few Nintendo related tattoos, multiple facial piercings, big ol’ stretched earlobes and definitely stick out in my profession like a sore thumb.

Outside of gaming, I’m a big Anaheim Ducks and Baltimore Orioles fan although I can’t really follow the Orioles from Indiana anymore. I’m a sucker for anything dealing with occult and paranomal activity as well. My wife HATES it, but I can’t stop watching tv shows about ghosts! OooOOoOo!!1! In my mind, real ghosts look like Pac-Man ghosts and they’re all black and white and gritty like old horror films. Like if The Ring was an 8-bit movie.

Musically, I like anything loud and annoying. Death metal, Black metal, Industrial, Thrash metal, widdly-widdly-wow Power metal, Horror Punk, Nerdcore Hip-Hop, Noisecore, crazy dancy poppy music, funk and even old school alternative rock. I like a lot of different bands but my favorites have to be Gwar, Dax Riggs, Deadboy and the Elephantmen, Silversun Pickups, Acid Bath, Arsonists Get All the Girls, American Head Charge, Cannibal Corpse, Skinny Puppy, Malice Mizer, Gackt, Harvey Danger, Cradle of Filth, Rick James, Sonata Arctica, Darkthrone, Burzum, HIM, Type O Negative, Deftones, Zao, The Agonist and Demon Hunter. I’m a poster child for A.D.D.!
