We struggled a bit finding the best way to deal with the drakes/whelps but what worked best was killing Nether, then freeing the whelps, zerging them down with Heroism, then just sticking to Halfus. We left Slate alone since it only periodically stuns Halfus which was the least helpful of the 3 buffs, and this worked like a charm. No one died, our healers still had mana and I even won a pretty saucy trinket. I pulled top DPS with 29,833 DPS, just ahead of our Survival Hunter who pulled 28,813. We had enough time to clear the trash to the 2nd boss(es) but one of our DPS had to go and we couldn’t find a replacement. For fun, we headed in to OS3D to give away a drake and nab the guild achievement run. It feels nice to get back in to raiding, even if its just on a casual level. No pun intended.
